Hand-made wooden card holder – cherry and sycamore maple

Every piece is made entirely with unplugged hand tools: sawn, planed, carved and fitted by hand, with no machines.

Warm cherry meets pale sycamore maple, and the two woods meet along a wave-shaped line that follows through the whole body. The lid is joined to the body with a brass pin and swings open smoothly to reveal your cards.

About the wood: cherry is light when freshly cut and darkens to a deeper reddish-brown with time and light. Your holder will develop its own patina. Every piece has its own grain, so yours will differ slightly from the photos.
