Every piece is made entirely with unplugged hand tools: sawn, planed, carved and fitted by hand, with no machines.

Oak brings a strong, open grain and a warm brown tone. Sycamore maple adds a pale, fine-grained contrast. The two woods meet along a flowing wave line. The lid is joined to the body with a brass pin and swings open smoothly to reveal your cards.

About the wood: oak is hard and durable, and its grain is clearly visible. Both woods change slowly with light and time. Oak turns slightly deeper and warmer, and maple takes on a softer, creamier tone. Every piece has its own grain, so yours will differ slightly from the photos.
